Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage in your browser, which we use for non-identifying preferences. Together they allow a website to remember actions and preferences over time.
The following items are essential for our website to function as you request. Under § 25 (2) TDDDG no consent is required for them:
These entries contain no marketing information and are not used to profile you.
When you search for an address, view a route distance, or interact with map elements during booking, we load components of Google Maps Platform (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). This loading is technically required to provide the service feature you requested. Google may receive your IP address and the address or place query and may set its own cookies when you actively use interactive map displays. For details see Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
We do not embed decorative third-party maps, videos, or social-media widgets that would load before you interact with them.
Before any non-essential technology is loaded, our cookie banner asks for your choice. The banner offers “Accept all” and “Reject all” with equal ease on the first level, plus “Cookie settings” where you can decide per category. No pre-selection is made — the default is always “off”.
Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage) together with the time of your decision. You can change or withdraw it at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it; if you withdraw, the statistics script is removed again.
Until you accept, no consent-requiring technologies are loaded. Your decision is voluntary and not a condition of using the website.
To learn how many visitors our website receives and which pages they view, we use the self-hosted, open-source analytics software Umami (run from our own server;umami.is). It sets no cookies and stores no personal data: IP addresses are used only transiently for approximate country statistics and are never stored, and individual visitors cannot be identified.
Although this analytics would be exempt from consent under § 25 (2) TDDDG because nothing is stored on your device, we still load it only after you have actively consented in our cookie banner, so that you retain full control over any statistical evaluation of your visit. You can withdraw this consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect technical or legal changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
